an Italian painter, was born at Ravenna and flourished about 1635. He probably studied under Bartolommeo. He died in 1650. His finest oil- paintings are at Bologna, being two of St. Andrew and St. Joseph in the Church of the Frafiniscans. His best fresco painting is the Assumption of the Virgin, in the dome of the Chapel of Our Lady del Sudare at Ravenna. See Spooner, Biog. Hist. of the Fine Arts, s.v.; Hoefer, Nouv. Biog.
