an English Nonconformist divine, was a native of Worcestershire, and educated at Cambridge. He was a fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford, was deprived at the Restoration, and became preacher to the English congregation at Leyden, where he died in 1692. He published several controversial theological treatises (1659-74), the best of which appeared without his name — Apologia pro Ministris in Anglia (vulgo) Non- conformistis, etc. (1664).
