a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born September 11, 1638, at Flensburg. He studied at Leipsic, was in 1672 deacon at Tundern, Schleswig, and died September 13, 1686. He is the author of Beschreibung des Levitischen Gottesdienstes, which was published by his son under the title, Judische Heiligthumer. An edition, with notes, was published by Joh.
