a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born Oct. 10, 1806. He was reared by pious parents, and experienced conversion early in life. While young he began to preach in connection with the South Carolina Conference. On the formation of the Georgia Conference he became one of its active members, and on its division joined the Florida Conference, in which he labored until near his decease, Nov. 28, 1865.
