a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Magdeburg, July 31, 1705. He studied at Halle and Jena, and commenced his academical career at Halle in 1729, was in 1732 professor at Giessen, in 1736 at Halle, and died March 15, 1748, doctor of theology.
