an English Congregational minister, was born in London, September, 1806. He was educated at Christ's Hospital, and while there became deeply impressed with religious things. He early engaged in Sabbath school work and lay preaching, and in 1849 was ordained at Tarrant, Hampshire. Mr. Wainright labored successively at Wheathampstead and Cordicote, and was recognised by the Church as an earnest and zealous advocate of the religion of Jesus Christ. He died May 8, 1865.
