a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born April 22, 1659, at Nuremberg. He studied at Altdorf and other universities. In 1688 he was appointed professor of theology and preacher at Altdorf, where he died, August 16, 1706. Besides some dissertations, he is also the author of sermons and hymns.
