Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition
חֲדַד (“sharpness”), [Hadad], pr.n. of one of the twelve sons of Ishmael, Genesis 25:15; 1 Chronicles 1:30. [“חֲדַר is probably the true reading in both places.” There is a tribe in Yemen probably sprung from this person. See Forster, i. 204, 286.]
