Reigned from September 22, to October 18, 1503. Born in 1439 in Siena, Italy as Francesco Todeschini Piccolomini; died on October 18, 1503 in Rome, Italy. Archbishop of Siena. Cardinal-deacon. Papal legate to Ancona and Germany. A man of spotless character. His short pontificate of 26 days left no time for the fulfillment of his policy.
