an English prelate, born in 1801, was educated at Oriel College, Oxford, and in 1826 elected to a fellowship at Mertmn College. He succeeded to the vicarage of St. Peter's-in-the East, Oxford, and in March 1837, to the see of Salisbury. He died at Portsmonth, March 6, 1854. Church Rev. 1854, page 464.
