[many Ped'ahzur] (Heb. Pedahtsur', פְּדָהצוּר , preserved of the Rock; Sept. Φαδασούρ, Φαδασσούρ ), the head of a family in the tribe of Manasseh; father of the Gamaliel who was appointed with others to aid Moses in numbering the people (Numbers 1:10; Numbers 2:20; Numbers 7:54; Numbers 7:59; Numbers 10:23). B.C. cir. 1657.
