יוֹרֶה m.
(1) part. act. Kal of the root יָרָה, pr. watering, sprinkling (Hosea 6:3), hence the former rain which falls in Palestine from the middle of October to the middle of December, preparing the earth to receive the seed. Deuteronomy 11:14; Jeremiah 5:24.
