(1) height, Isaiah 25:12.
(2) a lofty place, a rock, affording shelter and security; hence used for a refuge itself, Psalms 9:10, 18:3 46:8, 12 Ps4 6:12 48:4 59:10, 18 Ps5 9:18 94:22.
(3) with art. [Misgab], pr.n. of a town (situated on a lofty place) in Moab, Jeremiah 48:1.
